Pharrell continues to produce and feature on hot tracks

The title says it all really. Over the course of this year alone, the N.E.R.D star has featured and co-produced some of the biggest and greatest tracks of the year so far, 'Blurred Lines' and 'Get Lucky' (both of which are number 2 and 1 in the biggest selling UK songs of 2013 list so far). The 40 year old star (you read that correctly, yes) is on course to have even more groundbreaking success with new song 'Get Like Me', by Nelly which features Williams and Nicki Minaj.

Following a similar less is more approach like on 'Blurred Lines' (which Williams produced and co-wrote), 'Get Like Me' (also produced by Pharrell) houses a simplistic drum-lead beat with the rappers boasting about how 'great' they are. The track has grown on me with each listen and although its a Nelly song, its Pharrell who really steals the spotlight. With the video being shot very soon, expect this track to blow up on the airwaves and as with any other Pharrell track these days, expect to have it on your playlist on repeat.
