Picture Little Mix. Add a whole load of edge, a heaped dose of bad-ass bitch attitude and a pot full of loudness. Now what do you have? Jess, Amira, Shereen and Asami. A feisty concoction otherwise known as Neon Jungle.
The four piece have been making quite the buzz as of late with the premiere of their new single 'Trouble'. A storming in-your-face pop stomper, complete with a riot-like beat and, as accurately pointed out by my sister, vocal delivery similar to that of Icona Pops 'I Love It'. The track is most definitely a huge vocal hello to the world, much in the same vein of Girls Alouds 'Sound Of The Underground'. What isn't there to love about the girls? The current girl band scene in Britain leaves little to be desired. Ok sure there is the return of the original Sugababes, the amazing MutyaKeishaSiobhan. And the girls of Stooshe and the Saturdays can knock out a good tune every now and then. Then of course, there's Little Mix. The four piece X-Factor offspring renown for their cutesy image and tween-idol status. Which is all very well, but let's be honest, what's missing in the English girl group realm is a good bit of attitude. The girls release their debut single on September 1st, and this blogger thinks they're more than capable of making a sizable impact. They're gorgeous, they've got a great image and above all, a great tune. What the girls are going to do next is beyond me, and that itself is very exciting. No one likes predictability and predictability is something I can assure you, is not what we're going to get with these femme fatales.
