Willow Smith Is Still Trying To Happen

Back in May, we were introduced to 'Melodic Chaotic', a duo-project with the 'Whip My Hair' singer and D.J. “MVSIC” Fabrega. Earlier today, they premiered the video for their first offering '#SUMMERFLING.' Over a beach-side vibe, the track is by no means a 'Whip My Hair' but its still cute at its best. At least she's trying. On a side note, it is slightly adult for a girl her age. I mean, singing about love? You're like 6 and a half years old, go sing about twinkies or playdo or some business. And on another side note, I also don't understand why she's wearing a wig made out of Nicki Minajs armpit hair in the video.

To be honest, I've been looking for an excuse to post this since I heard it during Nicky Romeros set at Coachella and, since the Original Mix debuted a few moments ago, what better time to share than now! Leading with a beautiful piano piece and laced with beautiful vocals (provided by the sisters of Krewella), the track builds slowly before coming to a thumping dance breakdown. This is a must here for dance music lovers alike!

Leona Vs Ellie: Who Did 'Burn' better?

Recently, Ellie Goulding premiered the lead single from the upcoming re-release from her second album 'Halycon', 'Burn'. Earlier today, a demo of the same track surfaced on the internet but X-Factor starlet Leona Lewis. But who did it better?

Over a Stargate-like beat (Rihanna - What's My Name), produced and co-written by Ryan Tedder, housing the infectious chant of "gotta let it burn burn burn" the two tracks are essentially the same. The only differentiating factor here are the voice and in this bloggers opinion, that is what makes the key difference.

As we all know it, Leonas voice is pretty versatile. Whether she's doing her trademark ballads, rnb mid-tempos or straight up dance cuts, she somehow makes it work each time and this is no exception. She just sounds simply divine. Whereas in this case, Ellies voice just sounds straight up out of place. Though the indie-pop songstress has shone on previous top-40 ready cuts such as 'Lights' and 'Anything Can Happen', the track simply doesn't feel like an Ellie Goulding song. All in all the song itself is pretty ok. Its nothing special and nothing groundbreaking, but its cute. If you ask me, Leona did it better purely based on what her vocals bring to the record. (Sorry I can't find a stream link for Leonas version, but I'm still looking)

Cheryl Cole Eyes Solo-Star Return..

Yuhp, you read correctly, Cheryl Cole is returning to the music scene it seems. "Back with my first true love", the Geordie starlet wrote on her Instagram account accompanied with the picture above. After putting last project, 'A Million Lights', on hold to take part in the Girls Aloud farewell tour, the star is once again ready to go it alone. Despite this being album 4, the 'Call My Name' star has yet to release a cohesive, enjoyable album but 4th time lucky perhaps? With her album sales declining with each release, Cheryl really needs to pull something out the bag and not rely a whole era off the back of a number one hit.

New Chris Brown and Rihanna Duet Confirmed For 'X'

With previous reports reporting the 'Beautiful People' star demanded to keep the duet off his upcoming album, the song has now been confirmed to appear on the stars upcoming record by the singer himself on Twitter. The record label reportedly were adamant about putting the track, 'Put It Up', on the tracklisting despite Browns views and the fact that the pair have since broken up. This will now be the fourth time that the pair have teamed up for a song.

What does this mean? What happens in the likelihood that the song becomes a success regardless of the fact that the song sees a proper release or not? How will Rihanna feel? Will Rihanna promote it on her own social media anyway? Will she appear in a possible music video? Will anyone actually care?

What's Miss Britney Spears Been Up To?

Since releasing the amazing 'Femme Fatale' album, the pop princess has been rather quiet as of late in the music realm. Of course she's went to Starbucks, featured on will.i.ams ''Scream and Shout', went to starbucks, brought out the smurftastic 'Ooh La La', went to Starbucks, done the odd magazine cover and went to Starbucks, but fear not! She is coming back..and coming back a little bit more urban.

Hitting the studio hard, promising recently that this album would be her most personal offering to date, the singer has been linked with numerous producers. Those of which include Dr. Luke (yay), Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins (yay), Naughty Boy (yay), Diplo (double yay), Danja (yay), William Orbit (yay), Hit Boy (yay), MIKE WiLL MADE IT (yay) and will.i.am (BOO). Though I wouldn't get too excited at the prospect of an urban/hip hop album from the Godney, especially considering we were essentially promised an album soaked in dubstep. When in actuality, the Holy Spearit merely just dipped her toes into the dubstep-pool. With a star studded line up of eclectic producers and a Vegas residency and show in the horizon, Britney may just, if you will, do it again.

A release by the end of the year is likely, but with little known about the project from the star herself and her team, its anyones guesses as to how the final product will turn out. Maybe I'm just reading too much into things, but I for one am excited. Are you?
